Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) & Free Orientation Sessions
$495 (includes home materials and practice recordings)

Attendance at one of the free orientation sessions led by the instructor is recommended prior to the first class. During orientation, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the MBSR program, experience some of the mindfulness methods and approaches used, ask questions, explore whether or not the program is right for you, and meet briefly in private with the instructor for a few minutes. (Please note that the September 8 orientation session in Natick is closed for registration.)

Mindfulness Practice Session  

Guided mindfulness practice sessions are offered periodically throughout the year for people who are interested in experiencing some of the mindfulness practices used during the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, as well as for graduates of the program who would like to practice with others. Each session is two hours long and typically includes guided instruction in sitting meditation, mindful gentle yoga stretching, and a guided body scan meditation. No experience is necessary to participate.  

Private MBSR Program
$1,350 (includes home materials and practice recordings)

This 9 session private version of the MBSR program uses the same curriculum and home practice materials (including four practice recordings) as the group program. The program includes eight 90-minute weekly sessions and one three-hour extended practice session (15 hours total), with flexible scheduling options.

For individuals who live outside the area, the program can be taken online via video conferencing. Please contact us for details.

Individual Mindfulness Coaching
$150 per hour

Private mindfulness coaching is available for individuals who have graduated from the MBSR program and would like additional assistance in incorporating the practice of mindfulness into their daily lives.  Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

Mindfulness Programs for Businesses & Organizations

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program and/or mindfulness meditation classes can be offered to your organization as part of a staff development initiative. Please contact us for further information.

Continuing Education Credits

The MBSR program sponsored by Sunrise Mindfulness has been approved for 27 Continuing Education contact hours in Category 1 for Licensed Mental Health Counselors by MaMHCA/MMCEP Authorization Numbers 19-0835 & 19-0865 (fall 2019), 19-0866 (winter 2020), 19-0862 & 19-0867 (spring 2020) and 19-0864 (summer 2020).

The MBSR program sponsored by Sunrise Mindfulness has been approved for 27 Social Work Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR by the Collaborative of NASW and the Boston College and Simmons Schools of Social Work Authorization Number D80043 (11/11/18-11/11/20).

Cancellation Policy

Refunds for cancellation or withdrawal from the MBSR program will be issued according to the following schedule:

  • Full refund when notification is received at least 7 days before the start date.
  • A $50 administrative fee will be deducted from refunds when notification is received less than 7 days before the start date.
  • 75% refund after the first class
  • 50% refund after the second class
  • No refunds after the third class

Please note that tuition for mindfulness practice sessions are nonrefundable.

I came away from the MBSR program with a firm understanding of the principles of mindfulness practice and a renewed sense of my own responsibility for self care. Cindy is a nurturing and patient teacher who models the basics of mindfulness meditation and empowers her students to develop their own practice.
